Stainless Steel Coil Tension Table
The Tension Table is an auxiliary unit used in a stainless steel coil surface finishing production line. It is typically installed before the recoiling section to maintain controlled tension on the stainless steel strip during continuous production.
Description
The Tension Table is an auxiliary unit used in a stainless steel coil surface finishing production line. It is typically installed before the recoiling section to maintain controlled tension on the stainless steel strip during continuous production.
Unlike the main polishing or grinding machine, the tension table does not directly create the Hairline, No.4, Satin or 8K surface finish. Its primary function is to stabilize strip movement and provide suitable back tension before recoiling, helping the processed stainless steel coil enter the recoiler smoothly and wind in a stable and orderly manner.
As part of a complete stainless steel coil polishing line, the tension table works together with the polishing machine, cleaning and drying system, laminating unit and recoiler to maintain continuous material flow throughout the production process.
Main Functions
Stable Tension Control
The tension table applies controlled resistance to the moving stainless steel strip, helping maintain appropriate tension before recoiling. Stable strip tension is important for continuous coil processing and reliable winding performance.
Smooth and Stable Recoiling
By maintaining suitable back tension, the unit helps the recoiler produce a tighter and more orderly finished coil, reducing the risk of loose winding and layer misalignment during recoiling.
Continuous Material Transfer
The tension table acts as an important connection between the upstream processing equipment and the recoiling section, supporting smooth material transfer through the complete stainless steel surface finishing line.
Customized Line Integration
The working width, tension method and mechanical configuration can be designed according to the stainless steel coil specifications, line speed and production line requirements. OUYIGANG can integrate the tension table into Hairline, No.4, Satin / SB, 8K and other stainless steel coil finishing lines.
Typical Position in the Production Line
A typical stainless steel coil surface finishing process may include:
Decoiling → Feeding → Grinding / Polishing → Cleaning & Drying → Film Laminating → Tension Control → Recoiling
The actual line configuration depends on the required surface finish, material specifications, production capacity and automation level.
Applicable Production Lines
The Tension Table can be integrated into various stainless steel coil processing systems, including:
- Hairline Coil Polishing Line
- 4 Stainless Steel Polishing Line
- Satin / SB Finishing Line
- 8K Mirror Polishing Line
- Coil-to-Coil Surface Finishing Line
- Customized Stainless Steel Processing Line
Why Choose OUYIGANG
OUYIGANG does more than manufacture individual machines. We design complete stainless steel surface finishing production lines, allowing auxiliary equipment such as tension tables, decoilers, cleaning systems, laminating machines and recoilers to be engineered according to the main polishing process and overall production requirements.
Based on the customer’s coil width, thickness, required finish, production speed and automation level, our engineering team can provide a complete line configuration to ensure that each unit works together as an integrated production system.
